I got a PhD in neuroscience therefore, here I am.
After many years of academia I needed to express my personality, my ideas, my style through some form of art. After years in which I thought I knew photography, I finally ended-up to understand it. The aim of my photography is to tell a story, to raise an emotion, to impress that moment, indelibly, in a shot.
In my opinion there are three types of photography: snapshots, often treated like trash, but so crucial in everyone’s everyday life. There are shots that are just beautiful to look at, in a book, on the phone, on a white wall… just aesthetics. And then there are photographs that tell a story, they can be perfect or messed-up but they still tell a story.
